Hi Eddie ( again lol )
I was thinking that today as I have been making sure all the connections were good.
My main worry is trying to find a replacement if it's really bad.
I've got no problem with marking it all up be for taking apart.
Thanks for input.
Good day fine people.
So the welder was running fine after replacing the resistor on top of the contactor but after about 3 days the welder stopped re acting to the trigger input, so i remover the side case and with a length of wooden dowel I started to move wires around for a break or loose...
Hi Eddie
Cheers for that, I will mount it on the frame and not on the switch where it can vibrate, I hope the delivery isn't to long as I need to get welding asap.
Many thanks. Clive
Hi Eddie
Yep I think you hit the nail on the head with that, I did find the other end of the wire at the time, so next question.. what is its full title so I can search for a replacement?
Having removed the cover panels on the welder today to give it a bit of a clean out I found this only connected at one end?
Im not sure what I need to look for as a replacement.
Any help would be appreciated.
Ive attached a picture of offending item
Thanks
Thankyou gents, for your info, I've given my board to a friend who can, hopefully should get a reply by the weekend, I've forwarded your thoughts on the board.
New boy here (65).
I have a wire drive problem, installed and new speed control switch as a easy test but its fine, we have checked input and output on the circuit board and found correct mains going in but only 8volts coming out. Working on this do you have any recommendations for circuit board...
