I did actually find a cheap enough cool 40 u30 (the 230v version) very happy with that. Then a few weeks later I got a really good deal on a Fronius Magicwave 230i. Sold the ewm, so now im looking for a Fronius cooler
Hi,
How do I access the ”webpage” (smartmanager) for my Magicwave 230i? How do I connect it to ethernet? The manual states that i need my machines ip-adress but it does not show it to me. The only connector on the machine for anything possibly usable is a USB.
After some more cleaning, looks a bit better. Probably need to ”split” the grinding chamber since the lever for selecting angle is very stuck. What would you use to clean the chamber? The dirt is very stuck, tried with oxalic acid and som TFR.
My current project that´s not finished yet, is my Origo 4004i. I was looking for a used feeder for my warrior and i found one using Google. But the feeder was sold, but the guy said he had another feeder that might suit a warrior, so he went to the storge and climbed around the shelfs with me on...
So i measured resistance, in the range of 200 Ohm (thats the only range that would give me something) and on the soldered spots for the cables on the circuitbord, yellow cable gave me 3 Ohm and the the two pair of white cables gave me 0,1-0,2.
I had a XMT 350 cc/cv with a 12rc suitcase feeder as well, didn’t do to much welding with that one, it was in too good condition for me and when i bought i thought something was wrong with it because of a loud buzzing noise, but according to Miller it’s the autoline function making that noise...
I also ran it with a voltage sensing wire feeder, worked really well, but a bit rough in the start it had some sort of smooth start but it wasn´t really that smooth.
For a while I had a Esab Nomad 400, really nice machine. I had to sell it due to lack of space. I mounted it on a trailer and built a more silent exhaust for it.
Hi,
So my welding hobby got a bit out of hand. What started with a Mig C3000i sort of expanded a lot. I like Esab machines, but often professional welding equipment is bit expensive, so I started buying machines in very poor condition, and try to fix them myself. I thought it would be fun to...
Thank you for your reply, you are correct, the ribbon cable is slightly damaged but not broken off. It seems a bit complicated to dissasemble the machine without doing more damage to the ribbon cables. I try to do as much as possible with the machine as it is for now. These thermal switches, are...
Hi,
I recently bought a cheap Esab handy tig, which has some sort of problem with the thermal switch circuit (I think). When the machine is powered on fan starts and the leds light up, I can toggle the functions etc but the warning light for overheat stays on. I get no output from the machine...
Hi,
Would it be possible somehow to use a cool41 u31 with a tetrix 230 ac/dc? (The cooler is 400v and machine 230v, yes i know cool40 exists and is supposed to be used with tetrix 230, but auctions...) Could i give the cooler external 400v?
