Just a note ive opened up the side case and all looks clean no burn or heat marks at diodes (havent tested yet) ive been looking around and every where that sells these new says 16amp fuse i have a chunky plug but its a standard 3 pin plug with a 13 amp fuse its been on from the factory...
Same thing at any wire speed on the lower power setting regards bird nesting of red glowing wire
At highest setting (1 to 6 )it is better and on wire speed 2.5_3 just has no penetration weld doesnt pool it sits as a blob n top of the work peice
0.8 wire when i pul the trgger the wire comes out smoothly its in good condition with no rust /dust ect
The mig wire glows red and sort of just bird nests as it hits the work peice absolutely no penetration no weld pool just glowing red wire
i also on full power dont get very good...
Anyone havewany experience ofwit its near new running 0.6 wire it just doesnt seem very powerful compared to my clarke 151 had a play with it today on scrap steel and wasnt blown away the old clarke seems a lot more powerful
Yes ime welding new full inner wings and door aperature panels basicaly when you open the door its the complete a pillar up and around the roof back down to the door step the roof panel will need welding to this panel along the gutter its dificuilt to get in and clean and dress the weld...
At worst i could take it to my mates industrial unit and weld it there it would bewa pain in the ass to get the mini out and loaded into a van and down there but i could to save ££££

This came without a plug is it 3 phase or single also can i run the ones sold by clarke from a 13 amp household supply ive read varying reports or could i convert a household cooker socket to a 16amp outlet
