I got mine working on DIY CNC .. I dont think the arc caused interference .... I did follow some crude HF abatement measures.. Ferrite cores as much as possible, torch cable held clear and away from machine, plasma and CNC powered from separate ring mains.. Dont know if that helped, and...
I want a straight torch for this to bolt easier into a CNC table... Any recommendations on light clamp or a straight torch. I made up a clamp myself with jubilee clips but its awkward to setup ad cables overhang a lot . It would be better if going straight up.
Also any cheap source for the...
Both models have similar description, so i 30a does not have like you say, then 40a wont have either.. Perhaps line in manual is red herring, or bad translation as it only says it once and uses spark and arc intermittently.
Well there are a few here in LIDL DUBLIN (cork street)
40amp PPS-40-B2 model..
I see from those online instruction manuals, both models mention HF arc and HF spark in troubleshooting, so I guess it has HF start.. I think that rules it out for most CNC tables... Anyone tried it.
Anyone put this parkside on cheap CNC.
I read that you should not use plasma with HF (High Frequency) start on CNC as it will damage the eletronics.
HF used to be rare, but how its quite cheap.. does this parkside unit have HF start. Or has anyone used it OK on CNC table.
The CAD problems are for a much later stage.. Just need to be able to control a MIG welder wire, voltage and trigger. Trying to find a reasonable price single phase welder to do that.
In our case we will be using programmable potentiometers and relays to drive the weld action. The potentiometers and relays are connected to a host computer running a test system. At the moment the,. weld current is sank into a thermal load, ulitimately we integrate with a CAD system.
As this...
Yes, that is the default option, just do a relay across the trigger. That should work fine. However in some scenarios we want to vary V and wire speed as well.
There is standard schematic for the more expensive welders showing that if you put a Variable Resistor and vary a supplied voltage...
HI,
I am looking for a reasonable price MIG with remote input to control trigger, wire speed and Voltage.
I have access at the moment to a Thermal arc 320 SP but its price of 6300 GBP or there abouts breaks the budget. Hoping I can get down to 1--3 k GBP
EUROCONNECTOR of course, range of...
