My wife in all her wisdom decided that I needed an auto darkening helmet. Personally I'm happy flicking my head to put the mask down but bless her, the intentions were good. actually I found myself flicking the auto helmet down lol. anyway it has got me thinking... the helmet goes up to shade...
Every job makes a mess but at the end of the day if stuff is put back and stored where it should be then it's easy to lay your hand on for next time. A place for everything and everything in its place :)
I'd have a meltdown if my workshop was in a clutter lol. I couldn't work without open space, (I'm used to being at sea after all) I'd be pedantic about workshop things having their place and being out of the way, overly so. call me James may lol.
Twenty quid on ebay... I have broken more than a few, why put a hammering section on them when they crack when hammered? ,,, so I'm going to make one from box section and threaded rod when this one goes.
I'd welcome your opinions on this, am I a lazy sod? I have 4 115mm angle grinders currently with cutting, flap, and grinding discs on them, the spare one has a wire wheel on it but I never use it. I just find that I'm used to using the longer one with the trigger for cutting and the grinding...
Mc Combs steel in dunaghy Co Antrim is already on the list here but I'll just +1 them. a mile from my house so I use them a lot, some projects I didn't mean to start, it's just too handy to have a steel stockist so near lol. decent blokes and reasonably priced.
For my small speedboat I welded the plates to 5mm box to make the axle, the indespension units are bolted straight to the plate. Im still in the process of making the trailer so ill be welding the bracket frame for the mudflaps. By the way. Hi all, new guy here.
