I have a kenko 180 fish eye, picked it up at a market in Berlin for €22 about 10 years ago. It is an auxiliary lens that you screw onto the front of a 50mm prime lens to give a perfect circle on 35mm. Believe it could also be used with an 80mm prime for 120 film. Fun to play with and fairly...
Selector was loose as a goose as they say. 1st to 5th were vague to say the least!. Had my eyes and ears on when using the press and it went with such a bang I still s**t myself  scary forces involved!
I too know the "pleasure" of rebuilding the Renault PF gearbox. Mine had 3 problems, selector bushing was goosed (and unlike others can only be replaced by splitting the gearcase), 5th/6th synchro spring had snapped preventing 6th gear from working and when inspecting it the 6th gear bearing was...
If the uprights are 3" diameter (assuming I am reading that right) could you drill 21mm holes at your desired spacing then use some nice strong 20mm rod to support a table?
Have used a mirka sander and matching vacuum quite extensively when taping plasterboard. While not 100% dust free it is a million times better than any other type of sander. Use it with abranet instead of the sheets with just the punched holes makes a big difference too.
Would 100% recommend.
Pvc would have been much better. I was replacing knackered units in wood frames. They were bonded in with some sort of bituminous putty that was rock hard and had to be chiseled off the frame :(
My grandfather lived in Manhattan at the time and watched everything from his office 3 blocks away. He still finds it difficult to speak about what he saw even now
Thanks Gaz they look pretty interesting. Might take a trip down the scrapyard and see if they have any heavy box section. More I think about it the more a trestle style seems to be the way to go
For the cost of one of them I would be as well putting the money towards a second hand 2 or 4 poster. Think I am going to try either trestles or scaffolding for this depending on what I can get my hands on locally for sensible money
A big forklift would be handy, don't think the Mrs would approve of one sitting on the driveway though . I could in theory put a 2 poster in but it would involve removing the blockwork driveway and having a concrete slab poured which is time consuming and £££ I don't have for what is...
