Severn Trent aren't LSBUD members so you can't use that route.
You can register on the Digdat website and buy STL maps through them for a fee, or you can book an appointment to view maps at STL offices which I think is free of charge.
That depends on the type of system that you want to install and the ground conditions.
An abstraction well for an open system needs to get comfortably into the aquifer and for a domestic well, 10-20 m below the depth at which the pump will be set is common. Perhaps less in good productive...
It is possible with open-loop ground source heat systems where you bring water from the ground to the heat exchanger, usually in a water holding tank. Wouldn't like to say how efficient the system would be - you may need to over pump the well beyond the requirements of your water supply needs...
I have colleagues that specialize in dealing with domestic oil spills and my company occasionally provide geotechnical advise or drill boreholes for them. They generally work for insurers. Even the simple projects costs a lot of money so worth having a careful look at your household insurance to...
Blow through the flexi ducting. I have found that the partial vacuum makes the flexi want to collapse like a slinky spring if you try and draw air through it to the fan. Not an issue if you are securing the intake end to something, but can be a pain if you want it free standing and need the full...
Their Facebook page says they have ceased trading. Announced they were closing down on 7th March then shut up shop on the 31st by the look of it.
Also interested in an alternative local supplier.
Specialist advice is the way to go, especially as this sounds like it may be work related hearing loss. Your employer can't just ignore you and any solution needs to be appropriate for the environment you work in - tailored to the problematic frequencies and allowing you to remain aware of what...
True, but if you have access to the end of the cable you can usually clamp around it or occasionally clip onto the hopefully exposed armouring or an earth point - this allows you to use the the direct connection function and just energise the target cable. It is this direct connection method...
CAT and Genny and someone who knows how to use it. For an unbalanced 3 phase supply it should be obvious on power mode with the CAT as long as there is some current draw. Genny is a good second line of evidence if you have access to one end of the cable or know it's location somewhere with...
Are you not supporting the end of the bar with a centre in the tailstock? With that much stick out I would expect you to get quite a bit of deflection otherwise which won't be helping the finish either.
I've always had to do the test for a supervisors card and there are a few things that you need to know that you can't just guess. Noise levels at which hearing protection need to be provided if requested and at which it becomes mandatory, maximum length of ladder than can be used before...
If you are considering putting in a basement below groundwater level you need to consider the effect of buoyant uplift from the hydrostatic water pressure, especially if you tank it. I have had the unusual experience of watching a large concrete basement slab deflect upwards like a membrane as...
You can try adding some form of acid but it sounds like the solution won't have much buffering capacity so it will be easy to overshoot and end up with the opposite position. Even citric would cause a very low pH solution if you get is wrong.
If you had enough time bubbling air through it...
The vacuum will keep the lid and drum together when it is in action anyway, although granted it's better to have the lid secured if you want to move it about whilst full.
Presumably the water is going to need replacing often as it becomes contaminated with horse hair, bedding, sweat, oils, grass, crap and well, other crap. I guess you'll have to filter the water to try and keep this out of tanks and to stop it settling over night, so you might need pumps anyway...
It doesn't work through the distributors. You pay full price to them and SGS credit you £20 direct to your account on production of your invoice for the rental bottle. I'm sure that's how it worked for me.
How big is the table and what do you intend to use it for? I note that your query seems to be about the manufacture of the table, rather than specifically asking for what we be a suitable thickness steel to use on top of a welding table.
If the chuck is spinning on the section of the taper in the back of the chuck, wouldn't the two would part company when the quill is pulled back to free the stuck drill bit?
I've not reread all of the posts, but the morse taper on the chuck looks pretty good - no witness marks from spinning. Have you investigated if the drive belt is slipping?
