Couple of photos. Can't see the make as in a bit of an awkward place at the mo but will try and get a better look in the next couple of days. The inlet is toward the bottom of the case and the air is pulled through the filters by a paddle bladed fan mounted just above the vertical motor. The...
There was someone on here a while back selling a purpose made grinding dust extract unit. Can't remember its make but basically a steel box with fan and motor and dust separation. I've got the same unit as part of a drill grinder and it does a very good job of separating out the metal and...
If you are talking about the regulator that fits to the bottle then screwing the knob clockwise will open the regulator to the flow. Fully anticlockwise is effectively closed. Still close your bottle off as well.
That has been welded without being tacked or clamped. Right hand side (in above post) done first. Distorted to right then left hand side welded without any attempt to correct the lean. Absolute garbage. Not worth £60.
Just had 3 injectors back from Colchester fuel Injection for a generator engine. All three tested, overhauled, new nozzles fitted. £52 each plus VAT. Replacement new injectors were available for £150 plus VAT each so quite a saving. Excellent service. Returned within a week of dropping them off.
Can't be the Colchester Fuel Injection that I know as they haven't moved. Been in Haven Road for as long as I can remember. Still have quality staff in my opinion and have never failed me. Yes, they can be a bit pricey but had experience of a few others none of whom are still about.Seems to be...
I've a relative who has a PPP Talking Care system. Currently still has an analogue phone system. I recently spoke with them and they now do a system suitable for digital phones so have a replacement option as and when this occurs. Always found PPP very helpful to deal with.
Thank-you, very useful information. It's where I got caught out before when Lloyds took over Scottish Widows. I had some investments with Scottish Widows which are on the same licence as Lloyds bank where I had other accounts. The investments were mid term so couldn't be moved without huge...
I've just checked and the bank I'm with would charge me 16.1% for debit interest yet for an instant access savings they would pay 1.3 to 1.92%. Due to the sub-contract work that I do, payments aren't uniform and can be months after the work was done so I can never really keep a steady balance...
Sorry, but you misread my comment. It was a rhetorical question in that once the banks have your money be it in a business or personal account, they make use of it by lending it out from which they make money yet the rates paid on a business deposit account are always lower than those paid on a...
Looks like Starling might be the one to look into. I don't always have £180k in the account, it varies a lot but splitting into two to meet the £85k compensation limit would then mean having to draw on two accounts at some times. I don't deal in cash for any of my business so only transfers in...
Well, I've had a business bank account (with one of the big four) for many years and it is always in the black, I've never used an overdraft facility and up until the banking crash of 2008, even had interest paid on the balance. In recent years, they are charging not only for transactions but a...
Can't see anything on that example for preventing injury / accidents to general public walking on the footpath. Would have expected usual requirements for closing footpath etc . All appears to be aimed at preventing the contractor coming to harm. Perhaps AI hasn't done that bit of the course...
The square patch would be best made larger than the whole and brazed around the edge. For the end plate, I would form flanges on the one long and two short sides and overlap the other long edge. You are not talking about much steel so far easier to get a few small bit rather than using an old...
I've known a few recently getting rid of LPG forklifts due to the cost and hassle of getting the gas. A good diesel would be my first choice. Once had a customer who had an electric forklift. Batteries were getting weak so it was always on charge, used and put immediately back on charge. One...
