Finally unpacked my welder and welded a few horseshoes today. Im using an inverter and 6013 rods at 80 amps but appear to have some splatter. Any useful criticism welcome.
No I'm not a sales agent. Just don't want to overspend on a welder if something this price range will do the job. Would happily look at recommendations for more expensive stuff it you feel it would make a better job and be more versatile as my skill grows.

I am new to welding and have purchased an Rtech XLV2 Auto helmet.The price was good at £64 and appears to do the job.It dims quickly and has lots of adjustments around the head for comfort, although I'm still fine tuning mine. The service and delivery from RTech was good also.
