Thanks for the advice the same meteor sip helmets are going for £75 on ebay. I just know from my own experience that I try to save money buying stuff only to end up not being happy with what I bought and then probably buying the alternative later on.

If you're going to do something might as well look good at the same time, but seriously I have seen the helmets on ebay and the prices are fair enough. That SEW080 has a 2 year warranty though and is supposed to cost £130 and the sip is supposed to be £99 just thinking of paying a bit more for...

What do you think of those prices especially the Lawson-HIS SEW080 and The SIP one. I think the sip one looks a nice helmet.

According to a welding supplier web site it says the sip 130 has automatic wire feed which is set by the machine depending on the setting but with a manual overide as well.
Will have to see in the manual what it says.
