Hi, sorry to drag up an old post, did you manage to find a new swan neck for your mighty mig 130xt? I’ve just had one given to me but requires this part.
the eBay sellers are saying I need a genuine Sealey one.
Do you think I should be concerned about it being 36 years old? The motor sounds like it runs really well.
I’ll check my that plug out.
You’re right going off that description it’s likely that’s who made the motor
Hi guys, have bought this compressor off a guy that has retired, compressor is from 1982 but has been looked after well, I’ve attatched a pic, can anyone ID it?
Also I’d like to change the oil, can’t see a “sump plug” anywhere to get the old stuff out.
Seems to run upto 150 psi then cut off...
I was dead set on getting that wolf one, but now I've seen this vertical space saving one, whatever I get I plan to put a box around it so it makes a bit less noise, I'm really leaning towards the sip due to the massive space it's saving.
I'll be using it to run an impact gun, poss tyre...
What are your guys thoughts on this one in machine mart?

It's a new item and it's vertical, with 100l tank, being vertical I think I would prefer it as it would save a lot of space, I understand it will be noisy as it's...
The tank size is completely relevant, using your car guide out of those 3 choices you wouldn't use the 37 litre for a drive to Germany (air grinder) as you would be filling the tank all the time (charging the compressor) right?
I'm looking to get a compressor for a home garage, would like it to run an air duster, impact wrench possibly an air jack. Would 90l be enough? I don't want it charging all the time but I don't want it to take ages to fill just to do a little work then have to empty it.
I was thinking a box is a possibility, someone else told me I could bury it in the floor and put wood over the top of it doesn't sound right to me, I've looked at Clarke shh compressors they look good but expensive I'd like either a 100 or 150 litre ideally.
Does anyone run a compressor at home? Do you have issues with neighbors etc? Do you run silent? Have you dug a hole and put it under ground? Silent seems twice the price.
I'd like to use it for air guns, plasma cutter, possibly painting
new to welding and wondering if you guys could give me any tips (or tell me what I'm doing wrong), I have a inverter welder (tig, arc, plasma) and I've been practising a bit of arc on scrap metal.
I also have a no gas mig.
I seem to struggle getting them in a straight line
This weld was dc ARC
Wallace. Where abouts in Surrey are you? That's very kind of you.
What is a Y cylinder? .
I have an inverter tig/mma/plasma machine. Would the gas be ok for use on this? Will I need to buy a new regulator for the y cylinder?
