Got a load of trampoline springs here and would be honoured to donate to such a great build/tutorial Sir.
If you wanna PM your address I`ll get them in the post for you. How many you need/want?
Liking the idea of that. Just need to throw down a base, build the garage and move my 150litre ABAC from the shed, plumb in some 20mm copper pipe and THEN add a pre-cooler.
Living the dream...... would just love to be living the reality!!!
Loving the "and then it just let go!" stories.
We`ve all been there haven`t we. First few uses of a new compressor, turn the drain valve while still at pressure..... WHOOOOOOSH! New pants please! :D
I`m going to be tackling some tube jiggery soon, turbo downpipe and intercooler piping so this technique would in VERY useful.....
Except. Am I just being stupid? I cannot fathom the "fold said sheet of paper so the two edges that where against the blades are level with each other (fold in half...
Just the ticket Steveo. Definitely added to THE list.
Got the family holiday to fund this month...... gutted cus this years bonus just landed in the account and could have bought much and many for me. Ahhhhh the joys of being a grown up: Pretending to happily to spread the hard earned!

Been there with my ABAC 150 litre earlier in the year and went through pretty much everything on the damn thing to get it running!
Are you getting a good hiss when you hit max pressure and the compressor shuts down?

We all know the sad truth regards these purchases: Buy cheap, buy twice.
The cheap Aldi/Lidl type kit is fine so long as you only use it how it`s meant to be used, RARELY and LIGHTLY.
If it`s going to get any SERIOUS use, then the only sensible option is opt to for Makita/Dewalt/etc.
It`s...
Excellent! If it works on a Landie chances are it`ll work on my MG.
You taking orders? :D
