Gaz some really good looking units there but I guess I should have made clear that this is a temporary unit for the next 8-12months so i have somewhere to work while I am building a new house etc.
Hence the reason for just wanting to knock the rough of it and not go down the cladding route, its...
Afraid cladding isn't an option, it's a temporary building so want the option to sell it on when I'm done with it. Needs to continue to be mobile as a site office etc.

Not familiar with them, though a white car is hard enough to keep clean... Getting it spray foamed on the interior so should be well enough insulated.
Hi all
I have started a 20ft office/storage conversion over the last month or so, I have installed Windows and door and I have coated the frames with Jotun jotamastic 90 tinted to approx the original colour. (Oxide red). This brushed on ok for the first time using it.
If I wanted to repaint...
Some more progress on the drill, previous owner had sliced the covers up to get access to the switch it seems so I welded this up to try to make a better repair. I must give the switch a once over.
Painting is complete and fairly pleased with the results for roller finish.
Cleaned...

Great advice, short hair roller is a great job. Just wish I had remembered to wash it like you said! Few bits of fluff on the belt cover but nothing a light sand and second coat won't fix. Finish was good without laying off.
Second lesson learned today is why people hate body filler...
Well had some foam mini rollers in the garage it turns out, so I rolled on the primer and layed off any bubbles with one of those foam brushes.
All in all quite pleased so far, some filling and sanding to do before the colour coat, may try one of the short hair rollers for it to see if it...
Many thanks for the offer but I am planning to get started this weekend so I will try to get some locally.
Seems like general consensus is roller is the way forward rather than an electric sprayer though I am very temped to try it just out of interest! Might be YouTube magic but some folks seem...
I have recently been stripping a startrite drill for a bit of a clean up.
I have decided on the hammer finish enamel from paragon paints along with their etch primer as recommended on their website.
According to paragon both can be brushed and I don't have the ability to spray. So as it see...
No diagram that I can see...
I have checked them for continuity so I know which is each coil. As long as I don't connect them together as you say I'm in the clear?

Some advice on testing my motor and vfd.
See below for my motor name plate and wiring.
As I understand the motor is wired for 415v 3phase (came with the 5 pin plug attached). And this is currently in the star config?
I need to remove the wires from terminal 4 and connect them to...
A little more progress.
Removed the quill assembly from the cast frame, one difference the 10speed has from the 5 is the key in the front of the quill. Used one of socket cap screws from the drill and some washers to pull it. Again just for anyone doing the same in future.
You can see cast...
Have you used this stuff anywhere? Looked like a pretty close match to the original colour but the general consensus is that modern hammer finishes have become a bit pants since the VOC rules changed?
So just got back from a fair stint at work and a few updates for the drill.
Took the column out of the base and tried to clean it up. Was fairly badly corroded as you can see.
Don't have a lathe or access to one, so bodged up something using IKEA casters and my little Bosch 12v drill. I am...
I have the Makita, picked it up for a song when Amazon warehouse had deals on. Slightly squished plug and 30% off!
Stock blade seems great and I get square cuts from it.
A bit noisy but miles better than a grinder and abrasive disc.
