I used to work in a garage and we did accident repairs, it was on a small industrial estate with houses around, there were no filters at all. Not saying its right but this is what happens in the real world. Only got to look in the automotive section and on car forums to see what really goes on...
That's really good if its working - I can get the compressors between 2 garages so they will have mass between them and the neighbours, so you may well be correct in that a shed will suffice.
No unfortunately not.....I was hoping there was a way of stopping the smell in a redneck kind of way. I don't do loads of painting but just for the occasions I do, its usually complete cars but probably only a car a year.
