Hmmmm interesting.
I have never dealt with method statements before but seems simple enough.
This was the job I did but the distillery that owns the tractor , change a few lights, injector change, major service etc. didn't really know where exactly the job would take place till the day etc...
Yeah generally what I would do just starting to be asked for them so need to get writing. Just want something to make it look neat and presentable. Rather than just shoved on a word doc though that will be the last resort.
Hey all
Was wondering have a method statement or rams to write for a job do any of you use a free or cheap reliable program to do this. Usually do it at work with a system in place already and we usually just call it a risk assessment.
Thanks in advance
They are gradually getting more popular sip and a few others have released cheaper models now:

Ah right the quote I recently got for one priced them both the same within a few hundred pounds and no batteries with the esab but internet may have better deals.
True I mean it’s only about £400 for 4 flex volt batteries so you could have more than two full sets for the cost of one lorch and they will power all the dewalt cordless tools I have as well. It is definitely making it more tempting I just can’t get over esabs poor reputation for reliability...
Both Fronius and Lorch have had ones for a while of course they don’t run on standard power tool batteries. The Lorch version I had was epic shame I didn’t really use it enough to justify it.
Prefer riggers myself. Though getting a decent pair is impossible luckily I get them free from my adventures on ships so they don’t have to last me any particular length of time.
Fish farm lads all wear these though they are heavy buggers. Take some beating though...
Right so what had happened was this lad had not tensioned the belt enough when reassembling and the fuel pump had jumped back a tooth somehow. Meaning you could not put the locking pin in at tdc. He’d also not set the pulley properly so the slot for the pin was in the middle of the U shape...
