yep, but the interior was started about 5 years ago and i had the steps welded back then.
got the welder out today to weld the back box on my x3, it snapped right at the join and would have cost £500 to replace the whole lot

Gareth, same problem I have, where do i start, once it gets going should not be too bad
No repair panels available as far as I am aware, I do have a drivers step, but it does not have the sill section, all other vans are rusty as well so I would rather just fix this oneso i know it is done...
I am smoothing the front so the cab meets the roof, will get some photos of the inside later
wanted a fixed bed over the garage area so no need to move furniture about to sleep

Thanks, the doors seem out of alignment already just sat in the drive, I will weld bars across the aperture after I have jacked the bottom of the frame apart a bit
I'm going to weld the rest that needs doing, like some holes in the front grill (ex ambulance) and other areas, but the sills I...
Hi everyone, just joined, took my welding course about 3 years ago, and have done some welding, car seat frame, racks etc. Mostly heavy weight stuff.
Problem is now my 1998 Iveco Daily that I am converting to a motor home (single cab, not full length van), needs new sills and some work to one...
