Ok have made a few Gas Bottle stoves an have used a couple of types of heat resistant paint.
First one was Sterling high temp paint which was ok but just ok.
2nd was Baufix high temp paint an wouldn't buy again which answers that one. Am looking an ultimate high temp paint for my next build...
Ok just a DIY guy at home going to atempt to repair this sill, beleave it or not but this hole was orginaly a bubble on the paintwork, put finger to it an turned into this, pure magic i thought!! Door has also some surface rust but thinking of replacing it as i have a spare door lying around...
Ok hair dryer was a cheap one from argos an only has heat with two speeds it was heat an on slow with the charcoal. Will try next time with the blower on high speed to see if its any different, have a car to get ready for Mot first an ehen thats out of the way i will try a forge day a see how i go.
got this flue from scrap yard £45 for 4 45degree bends an roughly 18 feet of insulated flue, keep looking on gumtree as there is lots of people upgrading
