Thanks for all the advice, I'm not looking for out and out mountain bike as the trails round here aren't tough and we have no hills.
What's a good gear set to look for? I know nothing:doh:
What with being stuck at home without much in the way of exercise I'm looking at getting a bike. It will mainly be for road use however I plan on taking it through some gentle forest tracks at some point, so have settled on a hybrid style.
My budget is around £700
I've looked at the boardman...
In these dark times I've taken to building a pendant for my VFD. I've got everything sorted for the stop, start and speed control but can't figure out the jog function. The drive is a powerflex 40. The manual says the default jog pin is a digital input.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
I doubt they will starve however I don't think introducing a small amount of good quality food can do any harm. As I said due to the mild winter they may still be burning more energy than is normal for this time of year.
Holy thread resurrection batman, can anyone give me a good source of replacement pulleys for the star. I have one original but no idea where to find one that isn't £100.
Cheers
As has been said you get what you pay for. China makes some fantastic steel, as good as some western manufacturers, but if the buyer only wants the cheapest that's what they get.
For work we buy a lot of Chinese equivalent h13 tool steel, it's rare to have any issues. Same goes for the mild...
