It is a low point on frame. Both have rotted.
Would try and get another frame, but they are like hens teeth. Had to get this one shipped to me. What you see in picture would not be visible on inspection without removing bush.
Sorry, thought i said what it was. Its the hole were a subframe bush presses into. Got it from scrapyard. Subframe Looks ok, but this bit. Would never have seen this if I hadn't cut out the old bushes. Approx 100m in diameter and looks like a separate piece that is welded to the subframe...

Did better than that... Got rid of the motor. Just way too much work for a novice like me. Prefer to practise on something not so critical...know your limits
The mount is in two parts. That's the seam you see going up the middle. Yes, will clean back with wire brush/grinder and see if there is any good metal. Will investigate more. You can't mess with safety and do need to do these things right!
