Gear wrench do a flat reversible black finish spanner, was about £60 per set and these are very good for the money. There chrome ones are a bit more spendy but very nice.
Tuff saws again. Very easy to deal with. Good bi metal blades are a godsend starett are nice and variable tpi blades are very good for mixed materials eg 6-10 tpi or I think 10-14 are available. Speed will kill a bandsaw blade faster than anything else in metal
I've had this van for about 5 years now, it doesn't do huge mileage but does do long journeys as I use it as a camper/ mountain bike van. it's cost me a set of brake pads and a few oil changes in 35000 miles so I don't mind looking after it. it was spotless when I got it and only starting to...
Hello, I'm after people's opinion on best course of action. The van is a 2011 sprinter, I purchased 5 years ago after a fair bit of searching through rotten vans. At the time it was one of the cleanest van I came across for the age, but it's now starting to show a bit of the dreaded rust in the...
I had a little play with the foot plate for my big pillar drill. Someone had knocked a lump out of it in the past, I seem to have had a bit of success with loe hydrogen rods, it was bloody horrible to weld lots of porosity.
Is that the longest back cap in the world on the ck torch.
We have just got a water cooled ck torch for the old esab at work, it's night and day better than a standard torch and worlds apart from the horrific parweld that's on our miller dynasty.
It's ok for quick little jobs and back garden trimming where I don't want to annoy the neighbors bud doesn't come close to a real saw on chunky stuff. You need to give it time to cut
I use one of these quite often they are very good, but sure I paid about half of what they cost now.
I used to do a bit of milling with a chainsaw and the chain has to be spot on otherwise you get wandering issues...
Part of the tractor loader decided it wanted to give up on work. It's a bad designer with two tapped holes through the thinnest par to locate the pin. Chopped off and re made the ends with a bit more metal around the eyes, one grub screw through the thickest part I could get it.
A rough photo to be fair. 6 rashers of bacon 2 sausage, fried tomatoes, 4 scrambled eggs, 3 potato things( I would probably leave them out next time) and two breaded mushrooms. O and beans, got to have beans there good for the constitution.
Static means you need better earthing. Some people wind copper wire connected to earth around nylon parts as they seem to build up lots of static, this can cause sparks and dust explosions particularly from sanding.
