I don't get much time to stick metal together these days :mad:.
Found a glass table by the bin and repurposed some rusty fence poles. We now have a patio table.
Not happy i had to buy some washers and bolts so it set me back €3.50
Its Stuck
@Wozzaaah was correct it has threaded bar that screws into the pads stuck to the glass.
The glass is 150cm * 90cm
The next question is how to make something nice with what i have laying about in the garage.
An old gate (47mm tube) and some manky fence poles (40mm)
Some...
Not been on here in a while, don't get much time these days :mad:.
Found this and thought with a new base it would make a nice patio table.
but the glass is stuck to the base.
Easy way to remove it?
I was thinking i could cut the base off close to the pads that are stuck to the glass (They...
The api looks simple, i don't understand what would need to be updated vat is calculated the same way as its always been vat in - vat out.
The api call does not ask for any new data.
"periodKey": "A001",
"vatDueSales": 105.50,
"vatDueAcquisitions": -100.45,
"totalVatDue": 5.05...
All these software are way to complicated hopefully i can get away with not using it as i'm closing down. If i was continuing to trade i would build my own system to post data to the api.
The germans supply the software for free it cant be that complicated as i even managed to use it with...
At one point i was also filing monthly tax returns in Germany as i was over the distance selling threshold that was an absolute PITA.
Still have a few administrative things to do but hopefully everything will be shut down soon and i can move on.
I don't get it. They pushed us from paper to use their online forms now we have to use some software?
Making things more difficult and expensive for the little guy and companies like amazon abuse every tax loophole and get grants and subsidies.
Can someone send some rain over? :scared: The wife wants a veggie garden but the ground is like concrete.

Henry caught fire a few months ago so i'm bodging together a cyclone.
I'm using an old expansion tank and a bucket.
Just about to weld the top and side pipes :welder:.
Should the top pipe go down below the level of the side pipe?
Its funny you should say that last night i thought did i switch the gas off.. braved the cold in my dressing gown to check. I didn't switch it off. After loosing nearly a complete bottle once i'm usually very good even switching the gas off when i pop for a cuppa.
As the mig is out of gas thought i would test if the tig still works think i only used it once last year.
I like outside corner joints. Did not dip the tungsten once.
Tacked up.
The top left had a gap wider than the filler but it did not go too bad.
I often want to cut up some sheet and stick it together but not too good with the angle grinder, even with a bit of bar for a guide :ashamed:.
Made a guide rail thing, will try and slap the angle grinder on the side tomorrow.
The lathe is now level. But the suds pump is not working. While it was away from the wall i cleaned the filter and put some rubber around the top of the tank as it was leaking.
Switch it on blows out a lot of air a dribble may come out but it will stop. How much water do these pumps need...
Id like one of these be interested to see if u could mod a small table on to it.
My femi saw is pants the auto cut feature puts too much pressure, dulls the blade and most of the time it does not cut true.
I removed the setting compound from under the tail stock end (there was a lot more on the back side) I then managed to get it roughly levelled in about 10 mins.
I get some weird readings directly under the tail stock but from in-front of it, its the same all the way to the head stock. But there...
