Is your son local to you in Gloucestershire?
I have use the Shell service station on the Burford roundabout just outside Cirencester and also John Stayte services on Kingsholm Rd in Gloucester itself, just next to the rugby ground, both relatively recently.
Albeit a slight variation to the type discussed in the above posts, I’ve got one of these:

It’s perfect for unobstructed work under a vehicle, the only drawback being that you can’t jack a corner up to work on a wheel whilst it’s...
The good thing about this type of equipment is that it’s built to last and there is every chance that (OEM) spares for the compressor will be available. You can also actually strip it down & rebuild without too much hassle as well!
As @Seadog points out, the receiver will have been manufactured...
Our 12 year old Miele did this on a regular (3 monthly) basis and cleaning the NRV + spinning the impeller & cleaning out the sump etc seemed to clear the problem until the next time. Literally ‘rinse & repeat’.

Released tension on belt and slackened belt tensioning device, but it’s still putting up a fight.
Finally decided to change the sanding belt & disc on my Nutool NT46E machine.
Disc was easy - peel / scrape off the old one & stick on replacement.
Belt has me beaten, with no obvious way of releasing the tension or removing it. Before I turn it into a load of screws, springs etc does any one...
