Older Cruisers rogues etc are heavily built hulls and although production boats they are generally better than a few other of the main leisure brands in my experience!
Hi mate I've been fixing these things for years lol. It has twin 5.7Lt petrol v8 engines (marinised chevy v8s) Each carburetor swallowing 17 gallons an hr at full throttle (alot less if you put put) with the world about to end even middle class people don't want to dumb 500 quids worth of petrol...
Well found the problem! Pc1 board igbt transistor bridge is toast.
SEMIKRON SK10GHR12T4 is the part with the help of a helpful Miller wizard online !
Whether it's available is another story
Hi all. Hope you are all well. Fired up my miller xmt 350 today and something went pop inside. Shut down and opened up. No obvious blown bits inside, capacitors reach 471 and 462 volts and then the inverter seems to shut down as the capacitor voltages drop. No fault vodes displayed on machine...
Milwaukee all the way. Boy have I tried to kill that 18v grinder and haven't succeeded.
Cut 1/2" plate with it one day, done in 3 batteries and the grinder was smoking hot but still never died that day. It's in daily use with my hydraulic hose business and still going. Now bought the 18v fuel...
My Gys 220 AC/DC tig can crank up to 2500hz rich, not that I use that lol...generally prefer low speed pulse avoiding that annoying window up to about 30hz where it just flashes at you
Getting there mate really good job, practice is all it takes. You just need to try and work on consistency and keep the torch steady so the same arc length is maintained but for 1.0mm that's really good
Hi Andy spoke to Phil today yes gas should run on for 2 secs and mine does too but your gas pressure must be higher that's why you are hearing it and I don't notice it. If you are welding inside I weld at 8Lpm and maybe crank up to 15Lpm ish if drafty.
My 250 was one of the first three prototypes after he first designed them so there may have been some tech changes on the circuit boards too that power the gas solenoid. A bit of post gas can be helpful particularly for SS
No Andy, pretty much let the trigger off and it stops but I have an earlier model than you and don't have the gas saver Valve in mine, it could be something to do with that. Check with Phil mate
Yeah phil sold one of the single phase warriors to a line boring company on an automated setup. It runs 24hrs a day six days a week. Last time I spoke to Phil think the thing had been running for a couple of years..
Genny wise I run mine on a 10KVA Honda on near on full blast sometimes
Yeah a priority flow divider valve is answer so you have the pressure at the trimmer all the time. The steering systems on JCBs etc use them so priority always given to the steering. This assumes you have enough pump capacity to drive the trimmer and make movements. Sounds like you do. i have...
That will work just fine, compression stud coupling to a flexible pipe. I have a hydraulic pipe repair business and often do this or make a new steel pipe and join with compression couplings after cutting out the bad section. whatever the customer wants really
Dewalt is still very good, I have the cordless 18V mini impact wrench and 18V grease gun. both are superb. they are not as good as they used to be tho IMO. The Dewalt XRP dcd 725 drills models were indestructible, I still use mine and its nine years old with near on daily engineering use. They...
