It's definitely something in the set. It was working fine.
I bought the set that was for sale to replace this one.
This one is having this issue now so the other one is no longer for sale.
I have a problem with a Tig set. It comes up with an error code that translates to:-
Mains supply voltage is more than 10% below nominal voltage.
What does this mean?
And what can I does to rectify it?
I was right at the back of the workshop. When the guys opened the doors they usually let me know beforehand.
I have recently changed the location of my welding bay a lot more enclosed and out of the way.
The run wasnt quite finished in the photo so i burnt into the crater to continue the run.
Shame that i had to grind it all away when i had finished! To smooth it all out (so it looked like it had been folded and not welded).
I'll try and dig out some more photos.
I use a thermal arc 200 arcmaster (last of the sanrex type i think) with a foot pedal. Should eliminate any craters.
