My old man has a proper rig that eats 4mm for breakfast, dinner, and tea, when needed, but lives miles away so looking for an oil cooled that will run on single phase but can cope with 3.2 well, which shouldnt be a big deal to find??(i hope! Unless ive got my info wrong?) Think il get a sparky in...
Hi, long time watcher...minimal input-er, but in hope someone can lay down in laymans terms an education to my electrical woes?, so today ive been slapping about with an old 160( cant remember name) and some 3.2mm rods, i know it top end of its limit as it gone through 3 13amp fuses. After...
Ive just treated some rusty parts to some rust treatment, dinitrol rc900, it says its primer but its looking abit shiney to be a good key..do i need to rub the shine off with some fine wet n dry before i put some paint on them??
Hi ladies and gents, hope some folk can help with my spinning head!? im about to start body and paint on my van. im going for faux patina on it but wondered on the best base coat to put down. It wont be bare metaled so will have a mixture of a few minor repairs and and a very good sand off. Do i...
Evening, as above really, hoping to get some input before i get one, just needs to be good enough to clean up wheels and frames. I have about 15-20cfm to go at and i dont want to get a cabinet. Its just for personal use. Cheers guys
Ok fab you're the man if you have one of these! Any clue on what size generator would do the job? Am i right in thinking in that 2.2 isnt a industrial generator job??
Ok sorry for lack of info, iv a sip40050 3hp 2.2kw 240v, what other info is helpful, im trying to find a more complete spec sheet as the info on the compressor isnt that clear
Morning, havin just bought a 2nd compressor to aid my blasting needs, iv hit an electrical snag. The compressor was hard wired into a board and so now needs to be convered to be used with a plug, after bobbing on a 13amp plug and successfully blowing 2 fuses in quick succession, il looked into...
Iv bought a whole compressor, both tanks are 100l, so with 200l on tap it should go a little befor refill plus seeing as its just for diy im not fussed if i have to stop start, as long as i have the cfm to do the job. Any idea on regulator to use and will it need a separate water trap?
Ok, iv bought a 3hp to couple to my 2hp unit, is there a specific regulator itl need contol them both? Or anything else i should consider? Any surgestions on an eco-blast material for wheel/alloys and the odd bike frame?
I was hoping to not have to use a cabinet, whilst i have access to land open air, somewhere to store alot of gear isnt realistic for me. Plus i wouldnt have a water supply available. Because its just for personal use im not veering toward high spec speicalist tools, just a basic set up
Open air is ok, my dad has some land that i can make a mess on, if 3hp is as realistic minimum then thats what il have to get, i know they say go as big as you can go but its just diy so if it takes a hr and half so be it as long as it does the job
