Hi, after clocking the turbo a bit there is about 20mm clearance between firewall and actuator, if not enough i will cut tye actuator bracket a little and re-adjust the actuator and stop screw to compensate. I will get it to work, trust me on that !
Funny you said that mate, i have done a 3" downpipe on the car, nobody does 3" as it's very tight in there- i did not know that and to be honest the gtb2260vk needs a large bore exhaust to breathe nicely !

It's a Volvo/garret gtb2056vl. They are easy to come by and cheap as chips. Also they are easy to upgrade, the gtb2260vk fits plug and play in the exhaust housing...I did not back purge the manifold but the joints were quite good butt so the "sugaring" was minimal and only required little...

As per title, my 1st attempt at a tubular manifold, welds are not the prettiest as I have welded the sections in one go and I was already tired... Cheers !

I think you get better value for money from a Thermal Arc TA202 acdc welder, i had one i bought brand new and it was as good if not better than the 4 grand Lincoln Acdc welder i have now !
