found some ptfe tape, wound it round the threads 6 times, it nips up, not tight, then if ya turn a bit more it gets looser, so will see tomorrow if that leaks or not.
yeah there is a sealing washer on it, it wasnt leaking when i took it out to do the cam chain, but had to remove it again to get a good grip to push the coolant hose on a bit further, after all that, the hose still dripped a bit so put a jubillee clip on it, that sorted it.
