It looks like the back cap has tape on it, could be wrong, but if it has I would suggest a new one. For a couple of quid it will help, you don`t want to start dragging air in.
Why don`t you go on to the Cebora web site,that will give you some idea of a new price.My experience of Snap on is that they supply equipment that could have been bought from a distributor of the same equipment for half the price that Snap on sell it for.

Be very careful if you buy used Regs there are Regulators for sale second hand out there that, quite frankly are a time bomb. The date stamp is there for a reason, not to rip people off. I would like to gather all the people that have bought cheap regs and put them through a Gas inspectors course.
