Remeber, any fan used for a spray booth has to have the motor out of the airstream, ortherwise it will a} soon get clogged b} will go bang! when a spark from the motor ignites the paint vapours! a bifurcated way is best, axial fan is a none starter!

The most successful guy around here, i.e long established , most expensive !! .... uses arc welding 100% of the time , i sometimes use it for some cast iron rosettes etc... but cannot see any benefit? time, costs etc...Knocking the slag off must take an age! (and we've all knocked a slag off)...

I often use grey rose, they were bought out by a fab company recently, i think they use imported italian stuff (as they use the same codes & art no.... as Brundles) they are expensive though, on some items twice as much as brundles or DC iron...

Got one of these today - quicker and easier than a bandsaw, 100 x better than a 14" abrasive chop saw! hardly any sparks or grind dust etc... cut 2 tonne 50 x 50 x 3 shs and and 30 * flat with ease today, Possibly the best tool improvement ive seen for a long, and its chinese made!!
