My boss and I run customs and both cans have been to Sussex installations and had high level dead locks on all the rear doors slam locks all round and driver door lock change, also a pir in the back in case anyone cuts a panel to get in the back. Yes it’s says there’s something in the back worth...
The gold is for best uniform (no.1's) and I think the red badges were for no.2's used on the bridge at harbour stations or at specials in the control room. Was before my time so may be wrong.
The problem with washing it out it can damage the DOC which will cause problems later from unburnt diesel getting into the dpf. They can be baked but it's as much hassle having to remove the DOC as it is to to move the dpf completely. Anything is worth a go though before spending out on a new one.
My mate is a manager at a quick fit place, I just laugh now when he goes to QC wheel bolts the guys gun them up then just put the torque wrench on a bolt for him to make it click, I tell him everytime how pointless it is.
Got my self in some weird position on that last run some how went a bit off trying to get comfy again.
I forget to move my head sometimes end up trying to move my position half way again making the arc length wander and loose my way
Getting more confident at where I want to stack the beads. Much prefer dragging The to to start it.
Started on the side at 120a that felt to hot so was around 100-110a
Had another couple of rods tonight 120a then back off a touch. Was trying to get the rod a bit more upright and overlapping the runs and going slower
.
Any better?
i was welding left to right across my body and had the electrode positive going to have a mess with amps / travel speed and get the beads overlapping.
Thanks all.
Hi all first go at a bead pad with my thermal arc bought from badger1bear I was using murex 3.2 which I preferred to the boc 3.2 BB kindly gave me with the welder.
Found one rod just didn't want to start easily so I just ditched that one.
All done , well one is the other has a bit more gas in so going to take to work and drain somewhere very open.
Didn't even need to get the big toys out for the first valve cracked off with 12" adjustables then span out by hand.
When I do the first cut I leave the water inside or drain that...
