Is there an easy way to level the ram prior to syncing or is it a lot of measuring?

the press has the same system as the pictured for setting the stroke, however...
it’s limited by the height from the floor but otherwise works just as well as rolling over the top roller. Obviously just means the lower roll is removable not the top
rolls down, not up. We’ve a similar fj edwards set at work. Causes chaos with students using one that rolls up, then getting work stuck round the top roll on the edwards

Normal, all tail draggers have naff viz on approach, that’s why they do short, banked approaches, keeping the runway in view out the side til the last moment. And also why they zig zag when they taxi
