Any trailer that doesn't overtake you (looka dat, same as our trailer) or shove you into the back of the cop car at the lights (coz you dint check if you needed braked trailer for your car)
izza a guddun.
Rub the used tungsten down lenghtways on some 120 grit, and , if you have cut it, bung it into the next size hole up part way to knock the burrs off and it should go in to the right hole.
The oxydisation on the used tungsten stops it going into its right hole as the tolerances are spot on (he's...
For the main part, my welds still look rubbish/farmers welding, however, what I was aiming to fix was:
mild steel to SS pipe without burning out the SS
SS to SS and getting the "colours"
TIG brazing without melting in the base metal
root fusion on ali.
For the most part, I have almost achieved...
Looked at buying the the ones on the market because:
I was put off making one due to:
Jody @ WT&Ts saying he would not bother making another one-just buy one
The usual youtube vids seemed to make it look complicated.
However, looking at what was on offer, did not suit my needs,
SWAG Off...
I can't follow through every post on this thread as it churns so slow, but I have a Femi ABS 105, and a Milwaukee M18 CBS 125,
They are dry cut saws, you don't use oil because there is a slight risk of fire?:dontknow:
you don't use water based coolant because there might be a risk of water...
https://www.en.varionet.com/products/lunettes-lunettes-de-securite-varionet-safety I use these, but be warned, they can take a bit of getting used to, it was no problem for me as a biker, and, having served in the forces during the "gasmask on" saga I was used to walking about in a fog...
LOL, C'mon Jack, thats normal stuff for Jack and Tommy Atkins, bet you never did that , but to be fair, that was at sea/ABI (Air Borne Initiative) when things busted, you are right to expect better- I bet you could jury rig it or sort it, but, I don't see why you should, and if you do...
Never used pulse much, couldn't get on with it. Thought it through, what I do now is:
bung the base amps up to more than whats needed for the material-maybe 50% or even more depending on what you are doing.
set the % current to about 35%- 40% (tweak as required), I found my mistake was setting...
Apologies if this has already been covered, but a few months back I got one,
why?-
1. my trusty Femi ABS 105 had to go in for new tyres etc, and my mate called me up to do a job up in the hills.
2. my Femi is horizontal only, I wanted a vertical option for some jobs, you can make a stand or buy...
Not familiar with that model, but, lot of mowers get stuffed away for winter with dried grass "welded" inside the cutting head, it can get like concrete. Never used the pick up meself anyway, just set the cut to mulch , but you might find you have a load of snot in the system-just a guess though.
Dunno, but eggspect congestion on the roads will be no yoke, best scramble to get away first, prices will go up so have the shell out more, get to your deck chair quick or someone will poach your place.
The SilBronze was nice to work with and I got some nice results.
:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: me too,
http://www.esabna.com/us/en/education/blog/what-are-the-advantages-of-4047-filler-alloy.cfm
The thing that caught my eye in the above was the leak proof joints on thinner materials, which is...
Is the airbox and filter standard? some K&N filters fit into a modded standard airbox, might be why a breather tube has been blocked off???:dontknow:
yeah?
Did some TIG brazing with Silicon Bronze, nice to work with, got some 4047, to "braze" cast ally, made an rse of it, my settings were way to high, the casting melted before I could get the filler in, backed off the pedal and got a run going, but it was sucking up smeg from the casting.
Snapped...
not familiar with that machine, return/earth/ground is critical to MIG, but the wire should still feed. Look at the connections for polarity, ie, for gas shielded or fluxcore. If they are not tightened down, they can arc and cause probs, terminals are usually inside the casing where the wire...
I might have missed making my point, what I meant to try and point out was that I gained the impression that the Probate bloke and the rest of the people I was dealing with all had a "system" in that they were used to dealing with "legal eagles" and a sort of old boy network, a layman coming in...
