I've had a burisch compressor for around five years now, I think it is identical to the wolf Dakota, the regulator they fit is too small so get a decent one and decent sized pipe for your tools blaster ect. I use mine mostly for spray painting and power tools and it's fine for that not done much...
I built an exhaust a couple of years ago for my 911 turbo out of 304 stainless steel, I've used MIG over the years for hobby type stuff but for stainless it can be a bit scruffy unless you are a professional welder (which I'm not) I taught myself to tig weld using this site and Jody from...
They originally told me it was because of a law change that they have to do the checks, that was about a year ago!!! I don't know if that was the truth or a way of not giving you all your deposit back when you decide to leave them. At this moment in time it suits me as I'm only a hobby welder...
Yea you're right Mr m they did change their name they also went from a small unit with a portacabin for an office to a new fancy place over the road with a big warehouse and now they sell all types of welders and consumables at very competitive prices so they tell me, although I haven't bought...
I use them for pure argon as they are local to me, been with them for a few years now they're friendly and helpful but the cylinders need to be returned after twelve months for an annual safety inspection or you will start to lose your deposit depending how long you go over. I tend to to change...
My burisch gets used for spraying as well as a da sander and a die grinder ect, up to now it's performed perfectly for what I want, it's in my double garage and the noise is not too intrusive. My da sander is also a burisch and the compressor has no problem keeping up although it does run a lot...
The whole cylinders are cast iron on the burisch not just liners the heads are aluminium, I think the pump unit is used on quite a few different makes of compressor
I have one, got it the beginning of the summer, doesn't seem excessively noisy like the direct drive v twin I had before. I run a burisch air Palm sander and other air tools off it with no problems. It was delivered quick and although it's not used every day it fits the bill fine for me.
Hi I'm learning to weld stainless steel as I'm making an exhaust system for my car, still practicing till I get good enough to weld it. I've done quite a lot of mig welding over the years but tig takes a lot more precision and a steady hand, as I've just started my retirement I'm taking my time...
Hi all. My name's Chris and I live in Warrington Cheshire I'be been welding and spray painting for as long as I can remember on an amateur basis, I've been reading some of the posts on this forum for a bit now as I am trying to learn how to tig weld, it's a lot harder than it looks. Looking...
