i didn't know that they where rare where you are, it's like fruit/nuts what common here is not common everywhere else, and what common somewhere else cost an arm and a leg here.
That is a ton of money for that once rusted rust bucket.:o two block from me there in on that is in good shape 1200 CAD, they show up every now and then for no more then 2500 CAD.

i have bin thinking of getting a lathe, however i don't know where to start.:o
every "hobby" lathe i have seen looks like crap, and i'm not taking about peeling paint or dents, taking about shiny clean perfect looking lathes.(china crap.:mad:)

i had a Hitachi compressor that had the same thing happen, the regulator was not letting out all the air at the right PSI, all it need was to be a little looser and it worked like a charm.

how about that non-slip mats glued to the bottom of it? the stuff i am taking about looks like this. you can get at the dollar store (a place that sell cheap crap but somethings are worth going there to get.)
it's bin a strange winter so far 32 to 34F during the day to a hi of 50F it bin way to warm for this time of a year it drops like a rock at night 32 to 23F or
colder. (all of this is without wind chill.)
this reminds me of a "warm" winter 2 years ago over night it changed to 14F to 5F for...
