TV in the kitchen gets its iplayer etc signal from the router in the sitting room by wifi. Fine until the microwave is used when the signal is corrupted. Presumably an Ethernet cable connection may solve the issue but it would be a bit of a faff.

Most OHV mower engines run at arounds 4 to 6 thou valve clearance. Assuming no internal damage you may find that resetting the valve clearances may solve the problem. Question is, what happened to give the 40 thou clearance. May have to dig deeper.
