i worked for a outfit that put up some of those bins at costal grains . i did the elevator platform on my own and all the corner cuts on the catwalks on J and K lines . amazing view but not a nice place to be when a lightning storm comes in. i had my head down whilst doing the elevator platform...
elmtree fabrications in preston farm or Lh fabrications in skippers lane.
elmtree is round the corner from me and i think they do a lot of staircase stuff.
Hello All. I am looking at replacing my steelworker soon and I am looking at either a 2nd hand Geka 80 or possibly a new UZMA 60.
I know Gekas as I used them where I worked in the past, fantastic machines but the price tag to match. We had a Kingsland for a bit, I didn't like it but it did the...
i use a binzel mb36 for highish amp very regularly . 5 years going nicely with no problems.
i bought a copy one to do a job for a shipyard 330amps for 18 minutes on a rotating manipulater expecting it to burn out. it didn't but was horrible to use and the wire was always snapping around inside...
i think the nut that holds the lower part of the hook has stripped off the shank. looking at the picks it appears to be a tapered tread . i have seen it on another big crane hook but can't remember where or when .
if the engine is out or easy to work on just shove a hose pipe in the hoses one at a time. start at the lower hoses so you push the water against gravity out the top. as it is a unknown, change the oil/water heater/cooler above the oil filter. they are notorious for magically springing a leek...
repipe it , as in all the pipes and rad back on and dish washer tab with plane water. do it several times and last time just water to clean it out . run the engine up to temp each time. why dose it need cleaning? has it been contaminated with oil or just old gunk in it .
parts availability is the main thing . can you get even simple things when it goes wrong . i was warned about it when i got my forks so i went for a linde.
it probably has a lenco drive gearbox. no need for the clutch once you are moving. 1 2 3 and reverse but you pull to go in to 1st then next leaver for 2nd next 3rd and that is direct drive to the rear with no power loss . small 4th leaver will be the reverser. mega £. very fast changes and...
what ground conditions . clay , loam , rock? if it is clay forget it, it will only work as a holding tank and drain away very very slowly. the plastic crates seam to get ok reviews but i have no experance of them . the best place to look is a website called the paving expert. it will tell you...
i have one . it came out of a skip as it made a horrible noise . the new bearing cost £5 and i guess it has done over 2000 holes by now. it will do 22mm holes but is not keen and can struggle if the plate is over 15mm thick, i don't worry on thicker stuff as i will just get out my big matron...
when i had a meddings i rang them direct and they were very helpful and still have most parts in stock for nearly all drills they made. (that is what they said ).
