Hello all, I am in need of a cylinder hone for my 1946 Ransomes restoration. The bore is 86mm. I have seen two types of hones now. The ones with little balls on the end and I’ve used the flat padded type before.
Before we got one of these I used to put tyres on with brake cleaner. There’s a knack to it but it works. Spray a bit inside the tyre and then up out the side. Then light it and as soon as it pops on start pumping it.
It takes a couple of tries if you’ve never done it before.
Unfortunately it makes no difference. I find most car trailers such a pain for this. Why they can’t fit some actual lashing rings instead of rope hooks. For years you’ve never been able to use them to tie down.
On an ifor williams with the right size straps you can hook on the chassis rails...
The plate is normally where the first pic is. Then the second one is where it will say the model. I bought a few of these a while ago from auction and kept the best of them, this was annoyingly the only one the plate fell off.
I think it’s a K760, I have one. It’s a great saw.
The stickers are missing it looks like. They also had a plate on them. I’ll go and check mine shortly. They do fall off though.

Just so you have the details if you do want one, this is who I used. I haven’t received it yet but they seen a good...
Depending on the pulley size. You can source pulleys for not a lot of money. I’ve just ordered one for a project. Bored to the right size with the right keyway. 4 step v pulley with a keyway for £50 delivered.
If i remember correctly I think it says that you need to cancel the direct debit in your bank account if you have one set up. I’m sure I had it say that to me once when I sorn’d something.
I run the same sized compressor with a similar cabinet but mine has the basic gun, like the one you got where it has a trigger on it.
My set up works really well other than the media often runs out because I don’t have the modified setup like you do. That being the Ali block at the bottom of...
schepek (I’m not sure how it’s spelt) are cheap enough brand new. We have an old Benford which is great. Its really heavy though and a bit too powerful. My neighbour loves the noise of it. Especially when I take it for a walk :D
I have heard this before. Such a faff when I can just whack everything in and then just take it out and rinse it off. When it’s really bad I just drain it into a bucket and dispose of it
