If you look up Kevin Tevan or Black Bottom Campers on Facebook. They both break these and will be able to help with the Alco Axle and engine if needed. I hade a 2.5 NA u25 in ours, ran it for 5 years. Slow but reasonably reliable!
I have a load of electronic manuals here somewhere, drop me a...
There is strong chance that I will have some large amperage surface or panel mount DC circuit breakers in my drawer at work, what sizes do you need ideally?
I am not back until Monday but I can ask someone to look for me tomorrow
I put a new one on my fabia, if the battery spec is the same I believe there is no coding required. I changed mine in a hurry and didn't have tha ability to code, car was fine for 2 years & everything worked without a drama.
Not saying this is the right way but it worked for me.
To close this out, a chance discussion with my next door neighbour this morning revealed that he has been looking for an old lathe for a while. He is collecting tomorrow so happy days.
Thanks for all your comments and help, great forum as always
Just checked, I thought I had 2 but alas not. Rather hold on to this one, I do use it a 1/2 a dozen times a year.
Offer still stands if you want to borrow it if you only need one for a short time ( a couple of months is fine !)

I had ideas of putting it back together but not a chance with work and family so would like to ID it to move it...
I have got some round bar ertalyte here (a bit like nylon 66 - best google it for data sheets). I think it's either 20 or 25mm dia. Happy to put a 100mm length in the post for you if it helps.
I have the E550, it is brilliant for heartstrings for cable id's - and if course labels!
As mentioned it does waste a bit but once you get over that it is good.

For 4 & 6" pvc pipe we used to use an old burco single phase tea urn filled with veg oil. Used to be very awkward but didn't damage the pipe (at least a 2 or 3 man job to hold the urn & pipe without tipping it over.).
Can't really comment regarding making them, but i have used these for years for flail parts: -

They have an extensive range so may have something that will do the job.
