Just a little update...
When taking it apart for cleaning I never marked anything up so trying to get the timing right with no marks is proving a nightmare even following the recommended ways.
Apart from that its looking great got my parts ordered and its ready for a trolley.
Trolley made...
Yesterday I started to give it a clean but didn't want to strip it but had no choice in the end as it was awkward in aces.
Using paraffin and a wire wheel the surface rust came off great and revealed more blotches of mid brunswick green and part of the water level and flywheel stickers.
Just...
Had it running yesterday for 5 hours and after 20 minutes my worries of it breaking vanished and it ran fine, being at least 50 years old and not being ran for a while I am very impressed with it.
Small leak in tank nothing major just 2 or 3 table spoons leaked in that time.
Getting a clean...
The trouble I mainly have is once I've connected to pc is working out how to transfer to iTunes then convert to mp3 I haven't got past that bit yet.
Older phones ive had were so easy just connect to pc open your music files then drag them to phone and it was done in a second.
Picked up a Lister D for £70 fully working and working great just one or two bits missing or not original and very tiny leak from fuel tank but these are easily fixed.
As its not been used for sometime the plan is to clean it up and having running regularly to make sure all is ok while I get a...
Thanks.

Hi there
Lovely place llanbedr spent many times there in my youth just opposite the airfield in the outdoor training camp... Any idea if it still getting used.
Visited the Llandudo transport festival at the weekend and had my first encounter with them.
Totally new to me I asked around and each time I was becoming more and more fascinated with them and the assortment of devices that could be used with them.
I would like to get a small one along with...
Decided to use a dog collar from the pound shop but was a whole lot tricker to tack in place with the rod sticking to it occasionally and needing to be cut off but after sometime I somehow got there.
Then gave it two coats of paint and left over night.
For a first go at fabricating I'm...
A nice day again so made more progress... Well it's almost finished.
Couldn't find the nuts I had so used the oval metalwork that was once the legs of the supermarket trolley for the eyes.
I then decided instead of just adding a section of metal around the inside to hold the grill I would...
More progress today.
After acquiring a large metal item I then stripped it down and began making a tail and a mouth.
The nose I used half a paint tin and got it very badly tacked in place once I find something else for the nose I will swap it over.
As for the eyes once I find where I placed...
Not looking forward to doing both front and back gardens... Starting Monday.
Front is nice and easy, some bark painted tyres plant seeds and some ornaments... Done one little section last week to see how it looked 1 day later someone robbed my gnome.
The back needs all digging up and half...
That's not something I knew of... Till you mentioned it then I done a quick bit of reading, it seems like it may be a problem and it may not be just done to people's opinion either way I will keep an eye on it.
I'm cleaning all the parts before I think about painting anything so they will be...
