And they have worked good.
You raise a valid point. And Kemppi has a global warranty which means if a warranty claim arises he could turn to Kemppi australia to have it fixed. So that is also one thing to think about. It can be a good thing to have
I have heard about it, a friend i help sometimes took his iws course and started making his own pwqrs because of this so he has explaind alot of it for me.
Not sure if they have the same system as in qatar. If you want to start a company there you need a qatarian as partner, if you dont know one they supply you with one.
Get an esab globe-arc welding helmet and put a din3 backshield in it. It will give you full face protection. I have used this combination and also with din5 for o/a cutting and it has worked great
Too me it sounds like its a box/pan folder you need, It sounds like you are gonna need dies with the solution you are talking about if the jacks are for simulating the stroke of a pressbrake? most "standard" new made folders take a little less lenght than you require if you wanna stay around...
Well i found this intresting so i doug out the Avesta welding handbook.
And as Hitch said the 347 is recommended if the working temperature exceeds 400 degrees celcius. Otherwise you could use 308l i think it had something to do with the niobium content in the 347.
But i am sorry to say...
I am only going on what on old boss of mine always told us when doing these kind of jobs, His reasoning was that by doing it this way you would get little bit better properties at the joint of the weakest metal sort of the same when using 309 or 312 for dissimilar joints. But i know not everyone...
Well the skirt thing is an addon to protect your throat, It really serves it purpose when your in akward positions. Your eye-tech also has batterys so if you leave them in the speedglas its the same thing. i do agree they can bit heavy but its always a tradeoff between weight, size, viewing area...
Hitch is spot on. As a rule of thumb you choose filler based on the highest alloy number
So say 304-316 316 wire is the one to use because it will "overalloy" the 304 but match the 316 the otherway around the 316 would be "under alloyed" and therefore pointless to use it. So if its non critical...
If you look at the "listprice" which is the only one i found online its pretty much spot-on.
And when you factor in that Rapid Welding has free european shipping on the Kemppi it makes it very good deal, Just to start with the Lorch supplier has to shave off close to a grand on the asking price...
Well since this is "food grade" stuff you really need to purge it or weld both sides. Your idea with the aluminium bar is good it saves you alot of gas.
I would weld it autogenous with either puls or straight with a short downslope. You will have some distortion so try to make a really fast...
No they are not cheap but the best i used for woodwork. Another good one wich i think is value for money is Makitas. If you take a look at what most rental companys use its usually Makita or Bosch blue series i have never got any tool branded dewalt from a rental company and i think that says alot
