5/16ths UNC would be 18TPI which would be a pitch of 1.41 that would be the closest. However you do get M8 1.5 of the shelf. ( I have had to get M8 x 1.5 countersunk in Monel 500 :) Beck and Prosper was the supplier I used)
Iis a 10L oxygen i have, its empty I need a bigger one, I rent my inert gases from BOC but as far as I know they don't have a deal on Oxygen so Hobby Weld is the next best thing.
Looking for thoughts on exchanging my Hobby weld (Standard) Oxygen cylinder I have a deposit slip from the best part of a decade ago. Im looking to change it for a Hobby Weld (Plus) Oxygen cylinder, would this be a case of just paying the difference in deposit and the new gas price?

Gents rebuilding a Rover P6 2200 engine that was striped by someone else head back on etc and was installing the cam new bearings but I can't see any thrust bearings, what stops it moving about?
Is it just the chain tension ?

Seen this on a 300,000 barrel crude tank, when we probed a bit deeper we found an 18" section of weld missing and had been filled with silicone, the chap who done it made a cracking job of putting ripples in the silicone to mimic weld
John, u know what would be cool, if you done a youtube vid, with your pictures kind of like a show ant tell, all about your jet engine, I'm sure folk would find it really interesting. I for one would love to see them.
Well didn't get to much done today, SWMB had other plans for me, just got the injection carrier block marked out.

I have one, its there I was just warming the oil up, I have a few other vids with the water switched on, even with the cooling on the oil return still smokes :( I'm using top quality oil and the temp is pretty constant at around 45-50 deg, don't suppose you have any drawings kicking about from...
