Success :)
After a big disappointment recieving a non functional pedal I have finally got it working.
Hours of troubleshooting and Googling payed off.
Thanks for all contributions! Even got a reason to buy a Weller soldering station:)
I have mailed SSC who responded that there may have been a recent change in the pedal.
I doubt that, - my Kemmpi machine is not very new.
There may be some Kemmpis using R11F that do not need the pedal identification to work, I don't know.
I have disassembled the connector and will try...
Yes, it was very nice to get som help with this Gavin, Gert-Jan and the rest of you, - i will proceed next week after my vacation.
Will report back if this was the solution for my problem.
Hans
Nice!
How big wattage for the resistor? A norwegian dealer have them in 0.4, 0.6 and 1 W.
Will e.g. this one work:

I'm i bit unsure if I manage to solder the resistor, without damage the connector.
I will...
Thank's for bringing this further Gert-Jan.
I too believe the machine will have to recongnize the pedal to work properly.
Did you look at the wiring for the SSC pedal, and will a 10K resistor on a specific terminal be
the soloution...
Hi
I will see if I can measure tomorrow - it' night here now:)
Can you access min/max when pedal is not connected?
Is it also right to have access to set up and downslope even in pedal mode?
Here is some info from Kemppi manual regarding remotes:
Gavin,
the wiring-drawing you posted, is that for the R11F pedal?
I have just recieved a SSC pedal for my Kemppi Mastertig MLS 4000, and
it connects with a 7-pin connector and according to SSC it replaces the Kemppi R11F which is the correct remote for my MasterTig.
Unfortunatly i can't set...
