Depends on the computer. What make and model is it?
Also by this point the power supply will probably need replacing as it its so old, the capacitors dry out, and the new hardware may need different connectors that your current psu doesnt have or does have enough of
Cheers. I think I'm going to have to, but at the moment I need to get the roof and door sorted asap. I also don't have the budget right now. I know it would be much easier to sort it now but ass usual time/money/materials are against me.
I will have to rig up a support so I can remove the front...
Materials have arrived. Have the time but not the weather.
Managed to straighten out the front panel with an old ratchet strap and prep for some new bricks before rain stopped play.
Unfortunately after having some conversations with the owner and other interested parties i can raise...
Yep. The original roof roof frame sat on a timber atop the rear and left side wall. There was a brace across the garage.
Was thinking trim the felt back to the wood running the length of the garage see what condition that is in and run a new one if necessary.
Thinking of using joist hangers...
Ah you visited here then.....
Cheers. Hopefully it will turn out well, learning a lot from this.
Very good suggestion and that is something that I have spoken to the owner of the newer garage about. He has very generously offered to let me tap his electricity supply with a sub-meter if I...
There is existing guttering at the rear of the garages. The owner of the property the garages has an agreement in place where he gets a maintenance fee for up keep of the guttering.

Its quite close to home, there are neighbors in most days and there is cctv covering the garage area that i have access to. will be fitting a ground anchor and some extra bolts. Nothing too heavy duty.
Luck really, its been abandoned for over 20 years and is also right next to our flats.
Going to do a ply or osb3 roof with tin on top as well.
Frame is solid actually. Depends on whether I can get a door and frame for a reasonable price.
There will be a vehicle stored in there so I can do...
So after several days of clearing the collapsed and rotten roof, the rotten remains of kitchen cabinets and what appeared to be 10 garages worth of roofing felt, I now have a garage to put a roof and door on.
Need to renew the row of brick at the back to rest a 2x4 on, screw 2x4s to each...
1, Li-on batteries do last between uses better. Bonus being ryobi you just need to boy a new battery and charger.
2, not heard of them but with current battery and tool technologies its not really worth it
Might require the motor controller resetting. Turn the mains power off to it then turn it back after a minute or so might work.
If there are any manufacturers markings on the controller or remote use google fu and see if there is a manual?
