I have one of these deep in the back of my garage, It's been through 3 house moves with me and lived idle in every garage. I built it up from bits about 30 years ago, the tax disc on it is 1982!
Mine is based on a C model frame, with LC monoshock conversion, with the LC wheels...
I borrowed an 'On Car' skimming machine years ago from my mate who was a technician at an Austin Rover dealership, and it did a fantastic job.
I did 3 cars while I had it, but only did the front discs on FWD cars, I didn't have the other motorised part of the device to turn the freewheeling...

Mine's an early 1950's ZYTO.
Bought it last year off an older relative who bought it new!

Good news / bad news:
Good: after boiling and scrubbing, I discovered the spring valves are easily removable for cleaning, held in place by a simple spring clip, so everything is fine there.
Bad: the 2hp motor I picked up last night turns out to be 0.25hp !
chip off any big loose stuff, pickle it in warm cheap vinegar for a few days then scrub it,
Rinse, and repeat,
then electrolysys if it still needs work.
I've done loads of calipers this way.
Vinegar is 14p a pint at tesco.
