With a split die and a proper die holder you control the opening of the die with the grub screws. Slacken off the 3 grub screws then wind in the middle grub screw to force the split open, then take up the slack on the outer two grub screws to stop the die from moving.
Cut your thread and test...
That's why I'm looking for a cruising dinghy, no storage costs so it's not costing you anything while your not using it. My days of paying marina fees 365 days a year when I only used the boat for a max of 30 days a year are long gone!
Bit of a thread drift but I was shocked at how cheap 2nd hand boats have become. I am looking for a 4m cruising dinghy and trailer and an aquantance said a friend was selling their boat, turns out it's a 9m Van De Stadt so a yacht, not a dinghy but he was desperate to sell it, he started off...
When I had the supply put in the barn I had to dig 2 x 50m trenches, one for the HV earth and one for the LV earth.
They banged in 19 mm copper rods every couple of meters and then joined them all together with 7 strand copper wire that had to be 7/8ths" in diameter.
I guess that's partly why...
I bought a Hycrack screw splitter cheap at a farm auction to go on the back of the John Deere, it needs a new table fabricating which I haven't got round to yet.
We had the old mounting holes welded up on our church bells and new head stocks made. Taylor's, the bell hangers, liberally coated the bells with blacking which made the handling of them fun when we hauled them back into the tower.
Just to add a I don't think a milled blade would be as tough as a forged blade, in forging your forming the shape by forcing the grain structure to go where you want it, with a milled blade your cutting away the unwanted material so the grain structure won't flow in correct way. Or I could be...
An interesting side note, the NHS supply their staff with android phones which are set up with a VPN (Virtual Private Network) to enable staff to access NHS resources. Some of the staff prefer to use their personal Apple phones which the NHS Trust will allow so long as they sign a privacy...
I used Apple up until the iPhone 5 but I changed to android as I have the whole of the UK Ordance Survey mapping and there was no iOS app that would open it, I switched to a Samsung Galaxy and I've never looked back...
Memory cards.
No iTunes to bloat my PC.
2/3rds the price of an Apple phone...
Bloke I used to work with put his PPE (gloves, safety glasses) on top of his locker while he put his overalls on, grabbed his PPE and a load of grinding dust was dragged off the top of his locker straight into his eyes.
My understanding is flues should never be reduced from the flue size on the stove, it's 6" for a reason!
Also the distance away from combustible material is dependent on the stove, mine says 200mm but I fitted one for a friend and that stated 400mm from combustible material.
Dektite do two types...
Is it one of the torches that change the brightness level when you press the switch?
On most of my Cree torches the brightness changes on each click of the button:
Super bright
Bright
Dim
Flash
SOS flash
Could be the control circuitry is fubarred and it's stuck on dim.
I pull a lot of nails with either a claw hammer or a pry bar, as the claw goes back it puts bending tension in the nail, especially if it's a long nail, as the nail becomes free it straightens up and flicks into the air, normally over my right shoulder but I've had a few smack me on the face...
I don't like the `Easy` fillers, they are called easy because they sand back easily but that's because they are soft/crumbly and always seem to trap air in when mixed.
I prefer the Upol Gold or Fantastic.
Preferred resistor values, unless it's a very unusual application resistors will have the first two values shown above in the picture.
So you will commonly find resistors with a value of 4.7, 47, 470, 4700, 47000 ohm etc., you are unlikely to find a 5, 50, 500 ohm etc.
The above is an E12 range...
