Evening Folks. I have saved a very sad looking 175te from the bin and I'm in the process of fixing it up. The unit seems to function fine but it's missing the gas solenoid valve. I've Google the part number from the manual I found and all it comes up with is results for said manual .
I don't...
Afternoon folks!
I've picked up an old Clarke SE16CS100. It looks like it's had a hard life with the amount of crap and overspray I've cleaned off it, but it was a brilliant price.
The head gets really really hot on it. So I got looking at it and the fan on the pully doesn't blow any air...
Sorted it, I've bought a VFD for it I know it's chinesium but for £40 delivered I'll give it a go. Cheaper than a motor and I can do some advanced things like soft start and possibly overdriving it if I need a little more flow.
Apparently it did. I take it it needs to be a 4pole 1400rpm? I actually have a 2800rmp 2 pole. Would that be too fast?
Sorry for the questions, you lot are a lot more knowledgeable than me
Morning all,
I have been given this CompAir Autopower VS8 compressor and I'm going to cba ge it to single phase. The tag in the 3ph motor says its a 3/4hp motor which seems really anemic to me. I have spent a long time on Google but can't find a scrap of information about it. I have contacted...
Has anyone installed an enclosure heater in their machine to stop condensation forming and rusting the mig wire?
We use them in our outdoor switch gear on the control panels.
Has anyone ever had the misfortune of having to repair a cam switch?
My only Telwin has one that controls both the main power for the matching and the output power.
After now spending a good part of 5 hours on it, there is still one cam not located correctly.
Evening all.
Trying to find a manual for a Telwin Mastermig 165 but can't find a thing about it. Telwin say they have never made one. I suspect its a rebadged one. If anyone has any ideas I would love to know.
I got a few gallons from a fitter at work to refill mine. Its just standard insulating oil we use in 11Kv and up switchgear and transformers. have a google for transformer oil.
Just had a look and found this...
I use one regular on generators at work. They keep sending them with flat batteries and it starts them no problems. £17.99 on an Amazon lightning deal.
