The enemy got caught up in one of those do's. Had an insurance guy (ex-copper) come out to interview her, said the insurance co's are big on that now and have a shared database to weed out the regulars.
Taitsie - good job it wasn't the beemer...
Blimey, that's bu99ered!
Hope you have lot's of hours to fabricate the new bit's, it looks like it's had some welding already.
Make sure you jig it well, look forward to seeing the progress.
No problem!
I had/have a '98 300TDi Disco ES Premium that we had owned almost from new with a rotten body and good everything else, done about 130k miles so just run in. I have a 90 Defender, also '98, and while I like driving it I wouldn't want to go far in it, couple of hours max perhaps...
Welcome to the forum MW'92.
If you've not been there, there is lots of useful stuff on LR4x4 forum.
I've started to convert a 300TDi Disco into a NCF Sahara but a house move and injury has kind of slowed it all down stopped it!
Good luck with the project.

Chris - a GT6 would make a nice addition to the stable. My last GT6 is currently being restored for a relation of mine, should be a nice car.
Frank - Thanks, PM returned.
Looking good Chris and a great find. Pity its not a TR7/GT6 as I've loads of bits to get rid of for those!
Keep up the good work.

Good luck
The staff in Toolstation in Worcester are much more pleasant than those in Screwfix, sways me if its a like for like product and cost is similar, which it usually is.
At least you won't pinch a bit of skin when the bar slides down and traps it between the bar end and the end of the screw end it goes through
Had hoped being on so late it might have a bit more substance. Ever the optimist, me!
Done by the same crew as "My big fat gypsy..." perhaps?
Won't be bothering with part 2.
I did wonder where they were breaking up all the small electrical appliances though and how they weighed them in, the...
4" was £5 16 00 - http://www.toolemera.com/adpdf/swinden-1.pdf
Haven't emailed them but I vaguely remember £170ish for the 4", tried to find the link on Google but can't...
Very nice Matt, good colour too.
I was amazed to see they still make them: http://www.swindens-vices.co.uk/
Another must keep an eye-open for one of those notes duly made....
