Very pleased with my baxi, just fitted a few months ago. 10yr warranty... Wasn't too impressed with the Worcester Bosch, too many plastic parts. The baxi has stainless heat exchanger too.
Thanks. I've looked at them too.
Yeah, looking at these too. I think if I set the height right, I could eliminate the cat and dog problem. They have a narrow beam. Not so sure about the rain, snow etc...
Are these any good.

I think that is assembled in it's narrowest size. I'm sure it splits in two where the extension pieces would sit. So it would be approximately half the width disassembled.
135 90 25 as it came in it's narrowest from. Mine is the 2 ton 3 in 1. So can be assembled in 3 widths, or split in half...
It's the cj autos one with the newer heavy duty gearboxes..
If I'm too far, never mind. I can recommend them though. Great for getting the car up and level with all four wheels off. Also puts either axle at chest height when tilted.
Marlinspike, where abouts are you. I have the 2 ton version with adjustable width. I've used it once! Superb access. I also have a new lage plug in drill bought for it. I just don't enjoy working on cars anymore, (nor does my back !) so I'm considering parting with it. If you're local you can...
Yeah I no longer use the lathe or mill gearing.. I just change speeds using the vfd. You can adjust the readout for the drive ratio, but this will change if you change gear.
I really struggled with fillets and 6013. Best advice was to really push the rod into the root and lean the rod right over at a shallow angle like 30°. This helps to avoid slag inclusions. I'm really not an expert though. But this works for me!
I fancy having a go at cerakoting, but I don't have any shot blasting equipment... It would only be push bike parts, like chainsets etc. maybe one of those hand held gravity blasters used in the garden would do it. I only have 14cfm of air.
