That's what I was thinking.
I've had mine for four years and so far (gets stick ready to prod fate) the only door issue I've had is the drivers door which seems to commonly be a spring issue as above, but lots of silicone lubricant sprayed dwon the locking tab at the door sorts it out. Was...
You think that's bad, do a search for 'Shervin Rezaiy' he rides a ZX10 and is famous for things like cutting holes in the frame for saving weight, plexi glass foot peg hangers, and a stupid exhaust amongst other things.
I've always considered him a wind up or a made up character, I don't...
These are the guys I bought a replacement manifold off, they told me they bought the bankrupt stock, either way I got the parts I needed.

I wouldn't worry about it not being too airtight.
My lid is off a kttle BBQ with the lid lip bent straight(ish) first with pliers and then with my vice and it's far from airtight, it'll hold 115c - 125c easily for hours.
Loving yours, I REALLY need to sort a stand out
Good thinking our kid. I was thinking about making an ash pan and welding the feet of the coal basket to it but just exploring different ideas. I quite like yours
You'll be sat for a long time watching stuff cook in that
; )
Nice, I REALLY need to get around to painting mine though and making a stand for it.
How do you deal with the ash? Do you have an ash pan in the bottom?
I currently tip mine upside down to empty it in to an ash bin, it's...
Loving that mate, got a couple of questions.
Where did you get the locks for the doors? What kind are they.
For the dog bit is it permanently two sides or can you take the middle bit out so there is one big bit for the dogs?
Looking good my man
What he says, depends on exactly what you want to put in it.
In 2008 I had £2k - £2.5k to play with and wanted a Land Rover, because they are big, and I have four dogs.
I wanted a 110, but for that was looking at about 1990 one with around 160k on the clock, I bought a 7 seat Discovery...
I didn't do mine to get insurance cheaper, I just thought of it as a bonus it was more for self preservation, I've been lucky enough to have always ridden with IAM or ROSPA people (only been riding for 7 years) so I didn't have to change too much as I'd picked alot of it up.
I got a quote...
Have a look halfway down this webpage on the right hand side, you'll know it when you see it.

Hope it helps, even if it's just to give you an idea
I don't think that any reduction is worth what you'll pay, but if you are interested in doing in I prefer ROSPA, with ROSPA you have top pass a test every three years to prove you are still driving at an advanced level, with IAM you pass your test and then as long as you keep paying your yearly...
Ha haa, seen another R2D2 one on some amercian Ugly Drum Sites.
Gav, I just got it from eBay, it was a place in Bristol or Bath I can't remember but it took about two weeks to turn up. Only about a fiver if I remember rightly. Come round and have a look if you want, if you time it well there...
Cheers guys, it actually had me up last night googling and stuff, so I've been out and bought a geometry set from WHSmiths. GCSE math here I come again. I quite liked maths at school, shame I've not used it sonce I left....
Until now
; )
Thanks for the pointers
Hi all
I'm new to this and was hoping someone could explain some techniques or point me in the right direct of what to research so I can figure out lengths and angles of materials to make basic frame shapes.
Squares or rectangles are easy, for example my tool box is 600 x 220 so I cut some...
