@whm_fab , I'm wondering if you could sent me a link to where you get that valve and nozzle , I'm in Ireland too and brexit has made it quite difficult to buy from UK mainland
Was flicking through the tv and landed on this show , classic car resto, guy cutting class for a windscreen , im no health and safety nerd but surely this aint safe ?

Actually as snooper mentioned about the floor tiles , that would have been a good idea if the floor wasnt so uneven , im sure the tiles would have been great for keeping the floor clean and dust free but sadly the floor is much too lumpy and bumpy
Hi guys so i applied the 2k test area and like i was half expecting it had very little adhesion after it cured ,so instead of painting the whole floor and it lifting in sheets over time ,my brother in law is going to help me put down a good few bags of self leveling compound the fiber reenforced...
Thanks for the helpfull replies as always guys , i went ahead and gave a 1m2 section of the floor a coat of the 2k epoxy , after a few days ill see how its bonded and if the results are poor i think ill rent a floor grinder to remove the pva and old paint and start fresh
Hello folks , i have a queery that im sure can be answered on here , in my spray booth i have a terrible chalky concrete floor , the more i sweep the more dust i create , so i was told seal it with pva which i did , great less dust but now i want to paint it to further manage the dust , i rang...
I emailed sip to buy the stickers but got no reply yet , if its the red car thats my van , the compressor tank probably throws the scale off in the photo
I dont find this one too bad but having the base plates secured to the tank properly and good inlet filters make a huge difference having said that ear defenders are still needed , i toyed with the idea of boxing it in an enclosure but i dont want the risk of it getting too hot
Funny i nearly did forget to do the oil after everything
Only thing left now is to replace the 4 air filters but sip dont make them for this anymore so ill just get universal 1/2" ones
Finished
Just have to put the guards on the pulleys and tidy the cables with some conduit , it was really annoying me over the years having such a good compressor look like hell and not working properly but i kept putting to job off , now its good for another 20 years hopefully
Electrics , this for me was the hardest bit as i have no clue about electrics , basically the control box was doing nothing , the motor would only come on by jamming something into one of the contactors to force it closed and never stop running until pulled out, i read up a bit about contactors...
During

Thought some folk on here might find it mildly interesting ,iv had this compressor roughly 8 years now bought used(was made in 2006) and although its only used for hobby use it was very much showing its age, the hardware 1st then the electrics
I had an fto in 2011 took it as a trade in and was supprised what a brilliant car it was , always mean to get another one this time in manual but i remember mine had some rust issues too , the engine bay had a few holes around the engine mount and plenty underneath , ftos are known for rusting...
